The Annkut is the recently opened Gujrati Thali restaurant located on the bustling Salunke Vihar Road. It might be difficult to locate the restaurant at one go- what stands out is the sign board for a small dessert outlet called Shockolaah. As you get closer you will come across the sign board of Annkut with a black board listing out today’s special menu. Annkut has both indoor and outdoor sitting arrangement. The overall space is decorated with colorful elephants, cloth lampshades with batik prints, mirror glass pieces and puppets seated on ledges. Mayur is a popular thali joint in pune- it has three branches at camp, deccan and chinchwad and according to close sources it is believed that the fourth one is about to open at the airport. It only adds to the popularity of Mayur as a Thali restaurant. The food here is unlimited and the servers keep filing your katories the moment they see then getting empty. The menu is not the same and changed regularly. They also serve you with cold drinks and bottles waters for a charge. The thali will coast you Rs 250 which seem a bit much but the food is worth trying.
