Vijender Singh Win's India it's 3rd Medal at the Beijing Olympics 2008 Boxer Vijender Singh won another medal for India at the Beijing Olympics when he out punched Carlos Gongora of Ecuador in the quarterfinal of the 75kg category bout on Wednesday, 20th August 2008. With this victory into the semi's, he went on to the semi-finals to fight for the silver position with the Cuban boxer Emilio Correa Bayeaux but lost out and had to settle for bronze. This medal is the 3rd with Sushil Kumar striking Gold in the shooting Air Rifle event.
