We at indiamarks are aiming to create great quality and useful information on everything related to India. We are laser focused on ensuring high quality of content on indiamarks.com and so would like to offer you some Tips and posting guidelines to keep with the overall look of our site:-

Title

- Short and to the point does the trick.

- Keep your title relevant to your Article/Guide.

- Avoid using all upper case characters (Capital Letters) and special characters.

Tags

Add relevant tags and keywords that best describe what your guide is about.
Tags helps your guide to be found in search results, both within the site as well as through other search engines like google.

Category

- Select a Category which is most relevant to your guide.

- If you feel your guide qualifies for more than one category you may select multiple categories by holding down CTRL and selecting the categories.

Add an image for your Guide

- Please upload a large image that best suits your guide.

- This image is displayed on the homepage and appears in the introduction of your guide.

Introduction

- Add a short introduction paragraph to your guide that best describes what your Guide is about and what you wish to cover in the Guide.
- Add sections for the main body of your article/post.

- Your Introduction is automatically saved when you click outside the text box.


Sections & Headers

- Add as many sections to your guide as you like to express various points, using the 'Add More' option, keeping in mind that each section requires a header which appears in bold.

-Section header saves Automatically when you click outside the text area

- Double click in the text box to save each section.

- You may use the link option provided at the top of every section box for any text you wish to link. (Note: spamming is not allowed and posts containing any will be immediately deleted and the account suspended: see what is considered Spam)

Images

- You can upload a thumbnail image using the uploader provided after each section (optional).

- To add any other larger images to your guide you may use basic the HTML tag

- Define the size of the image you want to fit the description area provided, not to exceed the width of the page (580 pixels)

- Align your images to the left or right to enable text wrapping.

Bookmark and Share your Posts

- Once you've completed your guide remember to share it with friends and family so they can rate your article, post comment and post their own guides.

- The best way to do this is bookmark your guide using the bookmarking buttons on your guide for Digg, Del.icio.us or email it to your friends.

Remember

- indiamarks is for only for guides and articles related to India.

- Any Posts not related to India, not informative and useful, not presented or written well will be deleted.

- Spammers accounts will be suspended. (read what is considered spam before linking)
