  • Hero Honda Hunk
Hero Honda came up with this 150cc Hunk bike to give a competition to the Bajaj Pulsar and to counter the threat from the rising Apache RTR. It’s the Hero Honda Hunk 150cc version. The Hunk’s engine is the same as the CBZ X-Treme’s 4-stroke 150cc engine. Hunk’s engine is the same as the CBZ X-Treme’s 4-stroke 150cc engine which is capable of generating a power of 14.4 PS at 8,500rpm and 12.8 Nm of torque. Hunk’s 150cc engine produces tumble induction for efficient burning and a little more efficiency similar to that of a TVS CVTi engine. The technology is called by Hero Honda as advanced tumble flow induction (ATFI) that gives a balance of fuel efficiency and power. The bike has an Advanced Microprocessor Ignition System (AMI), and a tubular diamond type chassis. Talking about the looks, the bike has a sleek, compact build and sports tank shrouds. The Hunk also features an aggressive visor and muscular rear cowls and the tank offers a fine-knee recess. • Hero Honda Achiever
From the world’s largest bike manufacturers, Honda Achiever though failed to grab the sales chart but yet doing well with its two in-house competitors four years down the line. It was launched in 2006 as Hero Honda’s only bike in this segment before the CBZ came back in 2007.
