The temperature is rising and summer is in full-swing, So its time to escape the scorching summer heat and go for a summer getaway with family and loved ones. When in India for a summer tour, it is considerable to choose a right summer destination to beat the summer heat. There are several destinations in India where you can visit for a summer retreat and mostly preferable are the Indian hills to celebrate the vacation and maximize the tourism experience. Each part of India has picturesque hills stations and landscapes popular among the vacationers across the globe.   • Shimla
Shimla is the capital city of Himachal Pradesh, a picturesque hill station in the northern part of India. Shimla was established during the British rule as a resort place for the British officers and their families. Many of the buildings and monuments constructed by British have been converted into luxury hotels in Shimla. The ridge of Shimla offers a scenic sight of the ice-covered mountain peaks. Visitors can indulge is shopping in the famous Shimla mall. Shimla has abandoned waterfalls to overwhelm the visitors. Chadwick fall is a popular waterfall in Shimla surrounded by bushes and thick forests. Narkandan gives a view of the mountain ranges and forms a vital part of Shimla sightseeing.

  • Manali
Nestled at an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level, Manali is a beautiful hill station surrounded by captivating mountains, rivers, small waterfalls and streams. Manali is a popular destination in the state of Himachal Pradesh in the northern India. It is also a favored honeymoon spot for newly weds within the country.
