Synonymous with ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’, India is known for tourist coming repeatedly to this land of spiritual blessings. Probe deeper into India and you will find the land more than a physical territory, a land that gives you access to God. The spiritual places in India are diverse as the country’s different religions. One would find everything from sacred Hindu cities to ancient Buddhist monasteries. Spiritual India even offers much for individuals seeking awareness and Knowledge.   • Haridwar
Haridwar is known as the “Gateway of God” and one of the oldest living and holiest cities in India. Inhabitants of this region believe that you get access to God from this place. Nestled at the foothills of the Himalayas in Uttarakhand, Haridwar is the place of origination of river Ganges. Every evening locals and tourist lit lamps and sent them floating down the river after prayer and evening ‘aarti’.
  • Varanasi
Varanasi is again a city with old history and spiritualism in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The city is also known as the city of lord Shiva, who is responsible for creation and destruction. The most interesting part of the city is its ghats. Visitors can easily take a walk along the river front and experience the local culture. Bodhgaya is a famous Buddhist pilgrimage in the world. Located in Bihar, this is the place where Lord Buddha became enlightened under a Bodhi tree. The place is now the site of the famous Mahabodhi Temple complex. The town houses dozens of Buddhist monasteries.
  • The Amritsar Golden Temple
Amritsar is the spiritual capital of the Sikhs and the major attraction is the Golden Temple. The temple looks mesmerizing at night and even worth a visit at day time for prayer. Pilgrims take a bath in the Amrit Sarovar, a scared water pool around the golden Temple. Volunteers prepare free meals for pilgrims and the temple is open to people from all religion and faiths. Also take a trip to Wagah Border between India and Pakistan. The parade of troops and the change of guard is a must watched ceremony.

The Shirdi Sai baba Temple is located at Shirdi, Maharashtra. India attracts millions of devotees from various religion, caste and creed who come to worship to Shirdi Sai baba. The temple is built over the Samadhi of Shri Sai Baba.
  • Somnath Temple
Somnath Temple is located in Gujarat, one of the ancient temples of India, 79 kilometers from Junagadh in the Prabhas Kshetra near Veraval and other temples of western coast of India. This temple is visited by people from all parts of the country and even from other country. History reveals that Somnath temple was invaded by different conquerors who destroyed some parts of it. Located 10 km away from Tirupati city center, Balaji temple is the richest temple in the entire world. Estimated average turnover of the temple crosses Rs 5 billion mark every year. Around 60000 pilgrims visit the temple everyday. The deity is ornamented tip to toe and people often wait in long queues to get an entry to the temple.
  • Vaishno devi
Vaishno Devi is said to be the holiest temple in the world. The temple is dedicated to Shakti and situated in the hills of Vaisno Devi, Jammu and Kashmir. Mata Vaishno Devi resides in a cave located at a height of 5200 Ft. it is believed strongly that you cannot reach the place without the call of the Mata. If Maa calls a person will complete the journey successfully with her blessings.
  • Dakshineswar temple
Dakshineswar kali temple is a Hindu temple located in Dakshineswar near Kolkata. In 1847, wealthy widow Rani Rasmani establishes the temple as a pilgrimage to the scared city of Banaras. The temple also evidences a long history associated with Lord Ramkrishna who was once the head priest of the temple and a famous devotee of Kali Maa. He is believed to have seen Kali Ma in real inside the temple and now it is one of the holy places in India visited by pilgrims all over the country. The temple campus also houses 7 small Shiv temples where you can visit after the main prayer in the Kali temple. Beside the temple is river Ganges where you can go for evening refreshment.

The temple is very ancient and renovated over centuries.
