The most popular adventure sports in Himalayas are mountaineering, trekking and River rafting. Rafting means cruising down the gushing waters of a river in an inflatable rubber raft or white water kayak over roaring waves and swirling fast-moving water for the excitement of a lifetime.The Himalayan white water rafting is popular all over the world. It is not for weak hearts, rather it is for people who are fascinated by nature and has a desire to control it. The water is wild and very strong, with some rules and "points-to-consider" in mind you can easily have a safe and wild ride on the gushing water.

Today India is famous as one of the most popular destination for white water rafting in the world. Himalayan rafting experience is unmatchable and the most thrilling experience of an adventure lover. The Himalayan rivers are formed by the melting glaciers, calm at the beginging but as soon as they cover certain distance they turn wild. Many believe that rafting is a sport for professionals only.... that's not true. Himachal Pradesh River Rafting :

Himachal Pradesh is another beautiful jewel in the Himalayan Kingdom. Snao capped mountains, lush green forests, tall pine trees, beautiful and natural landscapes are just amazing. Brahmaputra River Rafting, Arunachal Pradesh :

An exciting journey down one of the world's greatest rivers, an option only for the true adventurer. The river, after flowing gently eastwards through Tibet, cuts the Greater Himalaya and the highest unclimbed mountain in the world, Namche Barwa before it enters Arunachal Pradesh, where the expedition begins, a few miles inside the line-of-control with China.
