I hav made research on shobha de's novels 4m feminist point of view. Though it was not an easy task, but she is such an authentic and energetic writer dat i was thus nt able 2 keep myself aloof 4m her. I was no doubt opposed by my seniors, since in our society she is considered to be a vry bold and straightforward woman. I think she is one of the great indian writers of today. She writes 4m her heart and her writings depicts the hypocricy and diplomacy of the elite classes which seems 2 b vry realistic. i dont understnd y is she considered 2 be a pornograhy writer, if the movies like Page-3 and Fashion are supposed 2 b hit in blockbuster den y is she critcised??????? i want 2 persue my P.hd research on her works only. I hav almost resd all her novels n m proud dat she is an Indian......

As a student of literature, i do know about writing literary work and the genres it belongs, and there are not such remarkable things that one can talk about as far as shobha's writing is concerned.she is good as columnist but i never look her as an real novelist who has a inner thrust for writing.she is time pass kind of writer one does not find a real touch as other writers do have.

Prof. Thore D.V. said 8 months ago:

literature makes a real man who con understand the real meaning of life. As indian writers are contributing their views everyone will get the original purpose of HIS Life.

i am a doctor aged 60 years. shobha is not only gorgeous but she is the only one to have b---s. she is brilliant, writings superb, how does she write so relevantly and her answers on the tv show, she hits the nail on the head. it is a pity we do not have more people like her.

Dr. S. K. Gupta said 3 months ago:

Ms. De an exclusive Indian writer, writes with much emphasis on India traditional values along with humane ethics and virtues, but, readers are generally misguides by the true portray of present social conditions in her works, which she does only for self-evaluation and realization, to know, where we are and why? I appreciate her creative imagination and boldness to speak truth in a world where leading figures are, too worthless. Her, writings undercurrent and feeling is good, if we evaluate, and her criticism is shown through the eventualities of modern life-style.

capt.s.chagla(54yrs master mariner) said 2 months ago:
