The restaurant business is thriving and even with new one's popping all over the City, you'll still almost never get a place at any of the old favorites without waiting or a reservation.

Kobe Sizzlers

Kobe Sizzlers

Kobe Sizzlers in Aundh is the very same chain of restaurants around India especially famous in Mumbai. Cooking up a range of sizzling dishes the classic sizzler is not dished up with Chinese, Indian and European variants.

A one-dish meal in itself served up with as a combination of meat/fish and veggies, chips, rice/noodles cooked on a hot iron plate that sizzles while on its way to your table is part of the whole sizzler dinning experience. The best are the steaks and French fries. But it can be had in any other delicious combination.  Take your pick of the Lamb Shashlik, Sizzling Chicken Garlic, Chicken Sausage sizzler in the non-vegetarian category and Pepper Mushroom or Garlic Mushroom in the vegetarian category. Hotel Greenpark

Hotel Greenpark

Visit Hotel Greekpark and you are greeted by a lavish glass facade building rather than sprawling lawns as the name suggests.  With ample parking space the restaurant seats a lot of tables indoor and outdoor, but go there on a weekend and you’ll still find yourself on a long waiting list. The outdoor dining area called ‘The Backwaters’ are where tables are situated around an artificial stream, twinkling white lights and plants that give a calming effect.

Greenpark serves a variety of cuisines – Indian, Thai, Chinese and Continental – and has plenty of options in both veg and non-veg. It has a separate Manglorean Cusine section which is the house specialty. From Chicken gassi, seafood and neer dosas or appams you get a taste of true manglorean delicacies right here in Pune. If south Indian isn’t to your taste they have great North Indian Kebabs and dishes as well as a Continental, Chinese or Thai section to choose from.

Good, authentic Punjabi food is what Makkhan Maar Ke at Banner is all about. While the ambience is average and not posh like other restaurants in the area, its food more than makes up for it. Not your typical Punjabi fare that you find in multi-cuisine places, it serves mildly spiced dishes with great flavors.
