Pune is a city with lots of history and culture, a city that has developed over the years. Today Pune is modern in true sense of the term but has never failed to retain its traditional aesthetics. Pune has also preserved its architectural heritage as well as created new architectural feats in and around the city. Today Pune is one of the must sought travel destination in Maharashtra and in India. Pune receives huge influx of tourist both domestic and international round the year. There are several posh areas in the city flock by the creamy layers and the foreigners. However Pune is also a residing place of people with modest means.

Koregaon Park is one such posh area in the city of Pune. This area was primarily a residential area in lush green scenery but of late it has been growing into a commercial market place. One can always spot many old bungalows and parks in the lanes of Koregaon Park. Koregaon Park restaurants and food joints are renowned all over Pune. The area is famous for dinning and is dotted with several food hubs some popular of which are the German Bakery, Chabad house, Osho Ashram and Bund Garden. People from all over Pune flock here to the lounges, pubs and eateries. Prem's, Hard Rock Cafe, Stone Water Grill, Aromas and Kiva are a hit with the crowds. The place has also several cafes such as Mocha, Sweet Chariot Café and snack centers. Koregaon Park is openly acknowledged as one of the most happening places in the city of Pune.

Osho International Commune
Osho International Commune is an Ashram located in Koregaon Park. It’s a prime center of attraction and inquisitiveness for people across the country and abroad. Osho Commune International, also called Osho Ashram is the powerhouse of those who wish to walk on the footsteps of Bhagwan Rajneesh, also known as Osho. Innumerable visitors come to the Osho Commune International for either short visits or several months’ attendance, to participate in daily meditation or the exhaustive programs of Osho Multiversity or contribute practically. All activities, be it creative arts or healing, food preparation or sports, takes place in the context of healing. Meditations take place in Gautama the Buddha Auditorium regularly, starting with Dynamic Meditation at sunrise. The afternoon program concludes with Kundalini Meditation. The Osho Ashram is a Spiritual Health Club and is based on the consideration of Bhagwan’s teachings and principles. The place is also dotted with modern facilities like swimming pool, health spa, basketball and tennis courts, beauty parlor, book stalls and a beautiful Zen Garden also known as Osho Teerth occupying five hectors of land.
Location
Spread over a wide area of 40 acres in Koregaon Park, Osho Commune International is around 12km from the city of Pune. It was founded by Bhagwan Rajneesh away from the clamor of the city life. The location of the Ashram outside the daily chores of the city life is a plus point for those individuals longing to tread the spiritual path.
Osho Commune International at Pune: AIDS-free community
Attendees must submit negative AIDS blood test reports and passport-sized photos for successful registration and granting of passes. Children, aged 12-18 must be accompanied by a parent. Arrangements for children under 12 or attendees with severe physical and mental problems are absent.
