Palakkad Sightseeing: Gateway to Kerala

Palakkad is a town as well as a municipality in the state of Kerala in India and is one of the beautiful places in this state which is also called God’s own country. The abundant rainfall that this state receives has turned it rich in flora and fauna. Moreover the state also has the highest literacy rate in the country which has, to some extent, helped in preserving its natural beauty. Palakkad is also the first totally electrified district in the country where thousands of towns and villages suffer from lack of adequate electricity supply. A visit to Kerala would be incomplete without taking in the attractions that this town has to offer.
