Mumbai Monsoon in Pictures

July is the month when Mumbai encounters heavy rainfall. Water clogging, traffic jam, umbrellas, drenched people are the common sights. The poor drainage system of the city brings a halt to the daily life of Mumbaiakers. The effect is seen mainly on bus transport and the Rail transport. Cars and other vehicles can not run in the water clogged areas, people can not walk down the street. There are some people who enjoy in this situation and some don’t. Offices and schools are open or closed subject to the local trains running on time.
