Imported Sports Bikes : Suzuki Hayabusa and Intruder launched in India

Japanese two-wheeler major Suzuki launched its two hyper sports bikes, the all speed Hayabusa and the all muscle cruiser Intruder M1800R, both priced at Rs12.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Suzuki's Hayabusa is the fastest motorcycle (Claimed top speed of about 321KPH for 1999 models) before the 2001 detuning agreement. From the 2000 and 2001 models top speed of the Hayabusa is restricted by the engine management system. Suzuki's Hayabusa is now challenged by BMW K1200S, Kawasaki ZX-12R and Kawasaki ZX-14R but Kawasaki or Honda or Ducati or BMW cannot claim their bikes as the fastest production motorcycle in the world because the Hayabusa will retain that title until the detuning agreement has been lifted - if ever. Suzuki has rolled out 2007 variant of Hayabusa named GSX 1300RZK7. The 2006 model of Hayubusa is popularly known as GSX 1300RK6. Hayabusa's may be costly but know that you may not be able to afford a Buggati Veyron 16.4 - the world's fastest production car which is around Rs 8crore, but for a price of around Rs 10 lakh or the price of two Maruti Swift, you can have the world's fastest production bike for your garage.
