India has some of the best honeymoon spots spread around the country. From Queen of hills – Shimla, Ooty, Darjeeling, Kullu Manali, to lush green Kodaikanal, Coorg, Munnar. From backwaters of Kerala, to snow capped mountains in Himalayas, to the best beaches in India, there is a romantic destination in every corner of the country.

Let us browse over some of the best honeymoon places in India :

  • 1. Kashmir - The paradise on earth

Kashmir, the upper most alpine region of North India, is the ethereal cold desert that goes by names such as "The Last Shangrila, Moonscape, Little Tibet" and so on. Kashmir's capital city, Srinagar offers delightful holidays on the lakes with their shikaras and houseboats. Nestling in the lap of the dazzling, snow-capped Himalayas, the Kashmir valley is undoubtedly a jewel in India's crown. An inspiration for so much art, music and poetry, Kashmir is also honeymooners' paradise, a nature lover's wonderland and a shopper's dream come true.

  • 2. Glistening best beaches in India
If asked about the Best Beaches in India you'll hear of the most popular beaches in Goa like Anjuna Beach, Calangute Beach, Colva Beach or even the Marina Beach, Chennai or Kovalam Beach in Kerala and few of the beaches near Pune. To me the Best Beaches would be secluded palm-fringed beaches with pristine golden sand, clear blue waters, beautiful sunset, lovely people around, some vendors selling local delicacies, the mighty ocean and the two of you. A perfect location for a perfect honeymoon is what all these beaches are. Pristine beauty, white sand and love in the air, what else you need?
