Sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, it is a racy number which was shot in the month of April. This youth-oriented film is scheduled to hit the screens worldwide on 14th November.

The young, foot tapping soundtrack of DOSTANA has been composed by the composer duo Vishal-Shekhar.

It's all happening in the Beach Party Capital of the world... Miami is the setting for Dharma Productions latest offering DOSTANA - serving a cocktail of all ingredients to do with Friendship, Fun Frolic and that thing called Love... but with a slight twist - there is a small case of pretending to be Gay!!

Synopsis:

When Sameer (Abhishek Bachchan) and Kunal (John Abraham) are turned down for an apartment because the land lady doesn't want 2 strapping young men to corrupt her young sexy niece Neha (Priyanka Chopra), they plan go to "G" - they pretend to be "Gay" to secure the apartment. All is well till they meet the sexy siren Neha and thus begins a journey of fun, frolic and a test of friendship like never before when Neha's boss Abhimanyu (Bobby Deol) enters the fray as the third contender for her affections, it gets even hotter under everyone's vests and bikini's and the boy's get down under dirty, in sunny Miami.

Character Sketch:

1) Abhishek Bachchan as Sameer

Born and raised in London, now in his early thirties, Sameer works in Miami, as a male nurse at St. Steve's Hospital. A goofy kind of guy, who yet has the ability to charm his way into anybody's life. Sameer is the man with the plan. Plans the he seldom thinks though its consequences.

2) John Abraham as Kunal

Kunal is a guy in his early thirties. Tall, suave, confident and good looking who has this brooding quality about him that makes girls swoon over him. Which he plays to his full advantage. He's a fashion photographer who is pretty straight edged, responsible and an organized man who has a life in order except for his residence permit as he is an illegal immigrant.

3) Priyanka Chopra as Neha

Neha Melwani is a 27 year old, contemporary Indian woman. She is a smart, gorgeous and stylish woman, working at a fashion magazine called Verve. Hard working and someone who loves her work, she longs to settle down and have a family. She is respectful, intelligent and also innocent which sometimes lands her into trouble.

Karz (Himesh Rocks)

Karz (Himesh Rocks) No I’m not a Himesh Reshammiya fan but I must admit that I really like some of his songs. I do listen to some of his tracks once in a while. All sad ones. I don’t think he’s a real singer. It’s just that somehow the voice coming out of his nasal chamber matches the music in the background along with some well penned down lyrics. It’s been a while since he came out with that kind of noise…err…I mean music. After all this time one expects an iota of quality from him at least. After his last movie Aap Ka Suroor flopped badly at the box-office, Himesh is out with a brand new flick Karz. Karz has been produced by T-Series. The film has been directed by Satish Kaushik. The film is slated for a Diwali release.

Coming back to the music of Karz, I must say everyone is going to feel really disappointed. Himesh fails miserably as far as the music of Karz goes. The tracks don’t have any special flavor. The lyrics are mediocre to say the least. The music isn’t up to the mark. And Himesh sucks as far as singing goes. The title track Lut Jaaon Lut Jaaon includes a rip off of the track Punjab by Karunesh. Although Himesh hasn’t made any use of his horific nasal chamber in this soundtrack, he still manages to piss off a lot of music lovers. Tracks like Masha Allah, Sisak Sisak Ke, Soniye Je Tere are all pure noise. Tandoori Nights is the worst track I have ever heard. I understand a usual Bollywood soundtrack needs one masala item track but this is just way too much. Tandoori Chicken should sue Himesh for using their trademark in this song and trying to cash in on it’s popularity. Dhoom Tere Ishq Ki and Tere Bin Chain Na Aave almost qualify for Bhajans. Ek Haseena Thi is tolerable upto a certain extent. If you bought this CD from a music store you might as well throw it away or donate it to an auto-rikshawallah!

Himesh Reshammiya should be banned by the Central Government. We can’t tolerate the noise anymore. Wait! The wedding season is almost here. I’m afraid the desi wedding DJs would be playing his music all over. Ahhh!!!
