Originally built as an ethnic village resort in Jaipur to showcase authentic Rajasthani village culture, Chokhi Dhani is now a brand name in itself. With mini re-created Rajasthani villages popping up in different cities across India it is possible to experience the essence of rural Rajasthan without having to travel to the state.
Started in 1989 to create an ethnic ambiance for a restaurant, over the years Chokhi Dhani has evolved as a tasteful and authentic symbol of ethnic village life of this most colorful state in the country. Today, the name of Chokhi Dhani is synonymous with Rajasthani culture throughout the country and offers tourists a chance to experience that culture without having to travel to Rajasthan itself.
