Cars Below 3 Lakhs in India

Cars Below 3 Lakhs in India

If you are thinking of buying a four-wheeler with a budget upto 3 lakhs, the following list of "Cars Priced Below 3 lakhs" will help you to choose a car. In this price range there are four cars available in the Indian Automobile market. These are primarily small hatchbacks with some basic features.

Tata Nano : Rs.1.43 Lac - Rs.1.95 Lac
Tata's strong will and determination to make the world’s cheapest car has been achieved and the dream of owning a four wheeler for a common Indian is now fulfilled with Tata Nano. It is an inexpensive, rear-engined, four-passenger city car built by the Indian company Tata Motors and is aimed primarily at the Indian domestic market.

Maruti Suzuki 800 : Rs.1.96 Lac - Rs.2.39 Lac
The 800 does not score heavily in the looks department. The regular facelifts make it look modest at best. Though discontinues in some of the cities but once Maruti 800 was a typical city commute that flooded Indian roads. It was best at and easy to manage in traffic.

Maruti Suzuki Omni : Rs. 2.12 Lac - Rs. 2.5 Lac
This car has done best as a people-mover, courier-delivery vehicle, ambulance and lots of other things! The Omni is basic, large-family transport at its cheapest best.

Hyundai Santro Xing : Rs.2.83 Lac
Santro was the first car to be launched in India by Hyundai. It was an instant hit but the radical design was not appreciated by many. It was launched in direct competition with Maruti Suzuki Zen.

Maruti Suzuki Alto : Rs.2.31 Lac - Rs.2.84 Lac
The Alto has reigned the small car section for many years now and has been the best selling car for many years. No other car beat Alto's fuel efficiency and on road performance. The powerful car comes with the most affordable price. The current price of Maruti Alto Standard is Rs. 2, 48,810 (approx), while the LX is priced at Rs. 2, 83,902

Maruti Suzuki Eeco : Rs.2.88 Lac
Maruti's new people carrier looks like a downsized Versa, and it certainly seems that way. It has generated a enormous amount of interest, and with the new engine and refinement, we think this will take over the Omni's mantle of Maruti's small people-carrier sooner rather than later.
