Bringing Joy to Street Children - The I-India Shower Bus

This little jewel of a video perfectly expresses a truth few people understand: If you have never brought joy to a child in need, you have missed one of life’s greatest opportunities for happiness.
The shower bus visits each of I-India’s School on Wheels street centres twice a week and provides the children there with an on-the spot shower. Soap, shampoo, anti-lice lotion, combs and toothpaste are also provided, as is hygiene education. This service may be the only proper wash a child will get all week. In the long hot season from March to November when temperatures can reach 48C/120F, the showers become a joyful party for the children.
