Biggest Airport in India - Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport

The biggest airport in India and in South Asia, also ranked fourth best airport for having Aerobridges, lavish food courts, cafe, lounges, SPA's and salons. After the privatisation of the Mumbai airport in early 2006, Mumbai airport has also gone under a major renovation and upgradation process. It was leased to a private operator in 2006. Mumbai is the main entry point to India and the airport handles 25 million passengers a year. A new domestic terminal has been opened and construction works are in progress in the international terminal. There's faster immigration and improved amenities. On the basis of the number of flights per week, the Mumbai - Delhi route is ranked as the seventh-busiest domestic route in the world. All these key elements and amenities made a big contribution in making the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport the biggest airport in India.
