Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence

Its not an unknown factor any more. Every aspect you touch has got some elements of AI in it. It is also a cause for debate of - to what extent will man go to depend on machines... But what is it? Is it something we can feel, or see, how much do we know about this phenomenon that surrounds us.

Artificial Intelligence

* AI is the science and engineering of making intelligent machines, especially intelligent computer programs. It is related to the similar task of using computers to understand human intelligence, but AI does not have to confine itself to methods that are biologically observable.

* It is the next step of the evolutionary process which is the union of human and machine, in which knowledge and skills embedded in our brains will be combined with greater capacity, speed and knowledge-sharing ability.

How does it benefit Us?

* Scientists have been studying about AI application for a long time now. How can we as individuals use this technology? There is a need to accept this new way of progress by people, because AI is a new step that is very helpful to the society.

* By implementing AI, machines will be able to do jobs that requires to follow detailed instructions and alertness.

* The more the machines are used, the less humans have to work. But that would increase our dependability on machines.

* Accepting AI comes with a lot of inhibitions and fear among humans. There is always that fear that if AI is learning based, will machines learn that being rich and successful is a good thing, then wage war against economic powers and famous people? Exploitation of Advanced knowledge and many other things that can go wrong with a new system, so it is a possibility that people must be prepared as they adapt this new technology.

* But despite all these speculations, the potential of this field is infinite. AI learns what is fed to it, irrespective of the size and quantity of data.

* Decision-making is one of the most important pointers of implementing AI in a system. This again needs to be limited to a certain point with alternative back ups and a system to shut it off completely, in case a revolution takes place.
