Things are Not So Quiet in Bachchan Town Anymore...

Aishwariya Rai is known for het giggling. But at the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA), she got into much higher spirits, say eye witnesses.

The Bachchans were staying at the plush Dusit Thani Hotel in Bangkok, where Abhishek and Aishwariya were seen coming down the steps of the hotel to attend the fashion show. The couple were accompanied bu actor Kunal Kapoor. Sources of the Mumbai Mirror reported that Ash seemed very high-spirited and was talking loudly. Too loud for the comfort of Abhishek who rebuked her and asked her to quieten down. Meanwhile Kunal, embarrassed by the situation hurriedly bid goodbye to the couple and walked away.

Ash paid no heed to her husband and continued with her loud self-expression, until Abhishek took her to the lobby of the hotel and made her sit to calm her down. For a while things quietened down, but not for long as Aishwarya decided to pipe up all over again arguing with him at the top of her voice. Sensing that the situation was getting embarrassedly out of control, Abhishek beckoned his security gaurds and asked them to escort his wife back to her room. The guards did just that, ending the Abhi-Ash debacle in the hotel lobby witnessed by hotel staff, fans and others alike!

IIFA Using Ranbir-Deepika's Lip-lock going too Far??

At the Bangkok Airport Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor met each other after a long gap and they were happy to see each other. Caught in the moment and forgetting that they were public place, Deepika received her boyfriend Ranbir with a welcome hug and kiss. Now that's not the scandalous part. The kiss in all fairness was not in the least bit inappropriate or sensual in anyway (see for yourself in the video below). But the IIFA team waiting at the airport caught it on tape....and used it.

The Channel telecasting the show, Star Plus has been using the footage of the brief lip-lock to gain viewer ship, as a teaser for the upcoming telecast of the show. Based on insiders, Ranbir and Deepika are quite upset about this gimmick and have expressed their concern with ‘Wizcraft’ who is the official host for IIFA.
Year after year many stars have been missing from the IIFA scene, and this year too only a handful stars were present. It was Ranbir and Deepika's first appearance at IIFA, and it looks like stunts like these are sure not going to help IIFA regain their star power.
