Silk Route The first thing that strikes you as you enter Silk Route is a very authentic oriental ambience, a golden lion sitting pretty between bamboo plants and the waitress’s dressed in traditional Thai costumes. The place has a garden seating as well as an indoor seating arrangement. They also have a small lounge on the first floor, which is ideal for a small private party The waiters are very friendly and the service is quick, which was good as the place had decent crowd in for a Sunday afternoon. The best part about the place of course is the food. People who are used to the Indo Chinese taste may not like the taste here cause it’s authentic and hence a little bland, but otherwise the place definitely has the best oriental menu in Pune. Apart from the regular Chinese and Thai dishes the place has good variety of Korean, Vietnamese, Indonesian and Japanese dishes.
