Ganesh Chaturthi, the birth of Lord Ganesha, is celebrated with great religious fervor throughout India.   • Modak

Modak is the most popular sweet dish prepared on Ganesh chaturthi. It is known as the favorite sweet of Lord Ganesha. People consider it a must to make Modak on the very first day of Ganesh Chaturthi. Modak is a sweet dumpling stuffed with coconut and jaggery. This special sweet is greatly associated with Lord Ganesha.

  • Puliyodarai

Puliyodarai is one of the famous recipes prepared on the auspicious celebration of Ganesha Utsav. It’s a rice dish prepared with turmeric, dal and seeds.

  • Puran Poli
