indiamarks is hosting its first contest starting on Labor Day, May 1, 2008.
In our attempt to build the best resource of guides and tips for everything India with YOU, we are kicking off our first community contest for YOU.
All you need to do is share something that you know about India that another person may find a lot of value in knowing.
It can be anything from shopping advice in Mumbai to the best ways to spend a vacation in Goa to planning a trip to the back water of kerala to the history of the king of all fruits - the mango.
It's fun, fulfilling and rewarding to watch your advice being read by users all around the world. Get started today - see all the contest details below.
- Contribute as many Articles and Guides on anything India to
indiamarks as you can and get a chance to win an Apple iPod!
Winners will be picked from the Top 10 Rated Articles(read
official Rules for details) and will Win a 4GB Apple iPod Nano!
Entries deadline is June 30th, 2008
- You have to sign up for a free indiamarks account in order to
participate or if you already have an account just log in.
Contest entries must be submitted through written
articles/guides under any categories (see categories here) on
the site. Any articles/guides submitted during the competition
period will be automatically considered. Each user can submit
unlimited number of articles/guides. Articles/guides must
include original content and have 250 words minimum.
- Submissions and voting period is May 1st, 2008, 00.00AM IST - June 30th 2008 at 11:59PM IST. Winner will be announced
during the first week of July, 2008.
- There are 3 prizes to be Won! 1st Prize will be an Apple iPod
Nano(4GB) and 2 Runners-up will get an Apple iPod Shuffle (1GB).
- Each article/guide page includes rating stars, when 5 stars
represent the best and 1 star the worst. The final article score
will be calculated from the combination of the number of votes
and the stars rating. Articles/Guides with Top 10 Scores will be
judged for the Final Winners.
- The Contest is only open to legal residents of India, 18 years
of age and older.
