Looking for best time to visit Majorda Beach?
If yes, you have come to the right place. Best time to visit Majorda Beach is from November till March.
From Bogmalo to down south, there is Majorda beach bellying the Majorda Beach Resort. Majorda is the village where the Jesuits, fond as they were of the good things of life, discovered the best Goan toddy (sap from the coconut palm), which they used to leaven the bread. Naturally, then, Majorda is the place where the Goans were first trained in the delicate art of baking European breads. Therefore, the Majordans are still Goa’s best bakers. As per the Goan version of Ramayana, the Lord Rama was abducted as a child and brought up at Majorda. Later, in pursuit of Sita, he camped at ‘Cabo de Rama’ – a headland further south-where the stretch of developed beaches ends.
It lies at a distance of approximately 5 km from the Colva Beach and claims as much popularity as the latter. Here, the green of the swinging palm trees contrasts beautifully with the blue of the gushing water. Majorda Beach is counted amongst the most magnificent beaches of Goa and never fails to receive its share of visitors, locals as well as tourists, in any year.
Majorda Beach is situated in the southern part of Bogmola. It is one of the marvelous beaches in Goa that is located about 18 kilometers from Dabolim Airport. Marjorda Beach in Goa is connected to Margao with an excellent network of roadways, including buses, auto rickshaws and taxis. It is one of the most popular beaches of Goa.
